Did you know that every time you enter an adwords ad you enter an ‘auction’ against others wanting to use “your” search term.

What can you do about that?

What you need to get is a great ad rank in order to get the best ranking.  So if you have a really good qualifying ad your ‘rank’ will simple – well, outrank – your competitors.

Key point:  A poor quality score will heavily penalize you.

Payment depends on the rank of the advertiser below them.

Quality score is totally vital for what you pay.  The higher the quality score the lower your cost will be.

Here’s what to focus on:

  1. Click through rate – easily the most important
  2. Relevancy – around 20%. It’s looking at direct relevance.
  3. Latent SI  – related search terms.
  4. Landing page – they want to see you’re being straight up with your customers.  This means privacy page, about us, and other things a real company will have.
  5. They’ll check bounces and similar
  6. They’ll do a check for overall originality etc.

If you want to get high rankings, high traffic and high relevancy, then you need to pay attention to these quality factors now!
